FAQ
Q: What do I need to take the test?
A: A photo ID and a type 600 Permit, available anywhere fishing licenses are sold. You can also take a boater safety course by clicking the Boater Education photo above
Q: What happens if I fail the test?
A: If you fail the test you may make a new appointment to try the test on another day.
Q: How long is the test?
A: The test takes anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hour depending on the test taker.
Q: What if an emergency happens and I won't be able to make it to my appointment?
A: As long as you call ahead to let us know, or shortly after, then you can just make a new appointment. If you miss your appointment 3 times without calling, you will no longer be able to take the test at our location.
